* Take ownership of all network platform related deliverables and manage all projects and people within the Platforms-Networks group
* Prepare project plans, track actual progress against the plan, make necessary adjustments to adhere the project to the plan
* Take ownership of and participate in requirements management, design, implementation, testing and release of products and make sure that deliverables confirm to high quality standards.
* Take direct reporting from engineers and TLs in the group and be responsible for their deliverables, their technical development, motivation, productivity and general well being. Conduct quarterly performance reviews for team members.
* Interact with and manage all stakeholders, which includes external customers, internal customers, vendors, IT personnel etc and make sure that all commitments made to stakeholders are met with satisfaction of everybody
* Provide technical mentorship to all team members and Be very hand-on and take ownership of all the engineering and technical aspects of the project. Spend about 50% of bandwidth on technology aspects.
* Implement and enforce processes for improving software quality and gathering data about engineering work. Ensure that engineers are sensitized towards the SDLC and engineering processes and they are being followed by all.
